I don't have the PMS problem

Anyone else? I get my period like any other female but all that happens is horribly bad pain. I take 4 tylenol, do some stretches and thats it. I have never had the bitchyness and mood swings that comes with. So I wonder if there are other women like me or is the whole hormone thing just a lot of bs?

20 years old ,have had my period for 7 years. not once can i say that my cycle has been the cause of a bad mood or bitchyness. I honestly think it's an excuse for women to be ignorant.

Do you know what ignorant means? It means "Uninformed". Not "experiencing mood swings". I am 20 and have been having my period for 11 years, and get depressed and easily saddened every time. Just because you personally don't experience symptoms of PMS (or PMDD) doesn't make other people's pain/hormone changes any less valid.

I'm like you in this regard. I have never noticed any correlation between my mood and my period. I've been treated for depression for a long time and have learned to be aware of patterns in my mood, but they have never correlated with my menstrual cycle.
PMS is certainly real, but that doesn't mean that every woman gets it. It's not universal.
But some people here seem to be REALLY angry at women's genitalia, for some reason that I'd rather not think about, or really defensive. She didn't say anything about the validity of other people's experiences, for pete's sake. She was just asking if anyone else had an experience like hers. So let's just all chill, okay?

First, get a life that guy with the hangups - with that attitude to female genitalia, I don't see how he can have a girlfriend to experience her PMS.
More to the point, and I am sure you ladies posting here really do NOT have PMS, the vast majority of women I have known had no major problems but... what's a guy to do when, even having diarised every month's problem, the love of my life STILL will not admit there IS a problem??

It seems like every male that accesses this site is a professional MD, whose eager to dx females with PMS. The true reallity is that they feel that there's no problem with them, so some one has to take the fall. It kind of like penis size... They can't possibly have a small one, but us girls knows the truth.
I am a OB/GYN RN. Only a small % truly has PMS. I personally have no pain, no change in mood, no nothing. However, I'm not degrading those who do have it. Most Likely women knows what's going on with their body, it doesn't usually come up like a sneak attack, as men have stated in other stories.
So PMS is a big deal to some, and it means nothing to most. However, PMS means a lot more to men... It's a way to justify their shortcomings :-)

well i am a young woman and i never experienced any mood swings, anger, bloating, head aches any of that stuff i did have cramps and threw up once every period. on the third day of bleeding it would get a little moderate and id be in so much pain id puke just once though then i was all light and cheery but for 6-8 days so it wasnt a big deal all i used were lites one day BAM! jee that tampon not working for me so i went to regular worked for 2 periods then.... BAM BAM BAM my period was sooo heavy i bled through a super plus tampon and pad in less than half an hour we had commpany i was standing there and felt a drip on my toe i looked it was blood they didnt see so i said 1 minute ran to the bathroom hopped in the shower with the jet on my vaj i had chunks so big i thought i was dying ever since ive had such heavy periods and this is the first time im having pms though im a b-i-t-c-h right now horrible cramps ive got a head ache im so bloated i cant get my pants on and craving hella salt a week early :(

I dont get PMS either *high five* well i guess its luck so PWNAGE! (meh gone hyper) i guess its just my epic personality and tolerant skills. Ehh my tomboy friends dont get PMSsy as well if that means anything. *bows* Thankyou.
