Time to be Invisible

My wife and I have 2 children; both boys. I have a sick sense of humor and that is what my wife loves about me or so she says. I can't say that I have tried to buy her flower, wine or chocolate. I guess I find it funny to playfully agitate her. I don't take things too seriously so I try to keep all issue light with messing around. I have found that with my wife it was rough at first but she now she seems to enjoy it. I have been known to take that extra large snickers bar that she bought at the store and split it between me and my two boys. When she is tearing the fridge up looking for her snickers fix we are heading for the door to the basement. Once it is apparent she isn't going to get her fix she comes a hunting us. Some of you may see this as cruel an unusual punishment it really isn't because we always make sure we have a spare so she doesn't go balistic. Once she takes time to herself she will reflect on how funny it wasn't and still find a good laugh in it. I am sure there are some red face women reading this thinking poor girl but you need to understand as she refers to me being a baby when I am sick that is her time to get even. We have a wonderful relationship and we can find humor in just about everything.

That sounds like a wonderful relationship and I am happy for you and I pray that it stays that way for the rest of your days. The fact that you two can keep things interesting and happy "in sickness and in health" is just awesome.
I must say that the other people that posted here are truly immature and should probably never be in a relationship.

Thats absolutely hilarious. i think its because my boyfriend enjoys taunting me too. He keeps a plastic folgers tub of chocolate in his fridge. ...and ice cream in the freezer. I love eating... especially at 'that time', and normaly go for the sweets. so he'll get himself a chocolate or 3 and start eating it in front of me and not offer. Or threaten that there is no more. Which sadly, i fall for constantly knowing the real answer, i run to the fridge to check and take it all back to the couch with me hording it till i am conent and toss a candy at him when he's smug. I don't see anything wrong with it or what you and your wife do. It's rather amusing to me. and it's something to keep everyone occupied harmlessly instead of being on edge just because someone's afraid that us women 'might' fly off the handle. ^_^
